Operating both forwarder and harvester can be trained simply by switching the model from the simulator display. It is even possible to use numerous machines simultaneously at one stand by connecting several simulators to the same exercise. Training with a complete machine chain at the same stand gives a realistic picture of logging.

TimberSkills learning environment

The TimberSkills learning environment provides tools for tracking student performance and handling the simulator exercises, including the complete exercises, self-evaluations and teacher feedback.

Operator report

The operator report is an excellent tool for supporting students’ progress in the TimberSkills learning environment. The report provides feedback and the student performance is evaluated on a scale of 1 to 5 in comparison to the simulator’s reference performances.

TimberSkills Simulator

TimberSkills Simulator, TimberMatic or TimberRite Simulator

TimberSkills Simulators are efficient tools for training working methods and machine operation without the TimberMatic or TimberRite measuring and control systems. With TimberMatic or TimberRite Simulator, you have also the measuring and control systems for forwarders and tracked or wheeled harvesters in use.

TimberSkills-PC-Simulator for laptop computers includes the harvester keypads and controls as well as an installation kit, power supply and transport case. The set does not include a laptop computer, however, as we recommend this to be purchased locally to ensure that the keypad and language are correct. Control systems are not included in the PC-Simulator.

TimberMatic or TimberRite Demo Software

TimberMatic or TimberRite Demo Software

TimberMatic or TimberRite Demo Software has the same features as the harvester TimberMatic or TimberRite control system. Using the demo software, you can practice control system functions, such as calibration, stand control routines, and storing data on yields.
